December 11, 2022 – It’s well established that Viera High School has one of the top music programs in the county, and the evidence supports the claim.  Eleven members of the instrumental music program (a school record) are heading to All-State Music Conference, along with two students from the vocal music program. From the chorus: Sophia Brandt and Anderson Law.

It’s amazing to find so much talent at one school, and two of the students can be found in one family – Matthew and Sophia Brandt.

The students will all travel to Tampa in January to attend the Florida Music Educators Association Professional Development Conference (Jan. 11-14), the organization behind All-State. In addition to approximately 250 clinic sessions and concerts, it is host to 23 All-State Ensembles featuring Florida’s top Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Guitar, Orff, and Popular Music students conducted by world-class conductors and teachers. It is attended by more than 10,000 people,

Matt & Sophia Brandt

Viera congratulates these hard-working and talented musicians.
