URBAN PRIME to Bring Exciting Cuisine to Viera Town Center
August 22, 2022 – With groundbreaking expected soon, Viera Town Center should be home by next spring to Urban Prime, an open concept marketplace with a 300-seat restaurant. The venue has an interesting pedigree, with the former executive chef and co-owner of the Green Turtle Market in Indian Harbour Beach, Ercan Ekinci, bringing his expertise to the endeavor.
According to Todd Pokrywa, the president of The Viera Company, “The addition of Urban Prime Marketplace & Restaurant to the Viera Town Center continues to deliver on The Viera Company’s long-held vision for this emerging commercial mixed-use center to serve as a central gathering area for both Viera residents and visitors to this top-selling master planned community. Chef Ercan Ekinci has a demonstrated track record in creating quality food and experiences.”
Making another great reason to enjoy Viera Town Center, Urban Prime will be within walking distance to many residents of Viera, especially those living near The Avenue Viera. According to Ekinci, Urban Prime will be “the ultimate destination for gourmet food, shopping, casual drinks, social gatherings and a truly unique dining experience.” The 5,000 square-foot facility will feature locally grown produce and wild seafood, a grocery with deli and bakery, prepared meals to grab and go, a large wine selection along with curbside pickup and local delivery.
There will also be a 8000-square-foot restaurant offering gourmet cuisine featuring seafood, steak, pasta and salads that will be familiar to anyone who has shopped at the Green Turtle Market in the last 20 years.
This is an exciting development for Viera Town Center and will add yet another great selection to the already eclectic and thriving restaurant scene in Viera.
